112 is the free, nationwide single-number emergency line (works with no credit and even without a SIM in covered areas). It routes to the nearest first responders — police, hospital, fire brigade or local disaster agency. Coverage of 112 is not yet uniform across all regencies; keep the direct numbers (110, 113, 118/119) as a backup.

Donation tax rules: donations for national-disaster management are deductible from a donor's gross income, capped at 5 % of the previous year's net income (Government Regulation 93/2010), and must go through a body recognised by the tax authority (DJP). A club-linked foundation should register as a yayasan with an NPWP (tax ID). Zakat and recognised religious gifts are separately deductible when paid to an official amil zakat institution. Confirm the current rules with a local tax adviser.
