Since 2019, Turkey has migrated all separate services (former 155 police, 156 gendarmerie, 110 fire, 112 ambulance) to a single number, 112, routed by trained operators. It is free, works without credit, and operators can assist in English.

Donation tax rules: under Article 89 of the Income Tax Law, ordinary donations to public bodies and recognised associations/foundations are deductible up to 5% of declared income (10% in priority development regions). Certain donations are 100% deductible without a cap, including cash donations to the Turkish Red Crescent (Kızılay) and to presidential/AFAD disaster-relief campaigns. A local Rotary club is not automatically a recognised beneficiary — verify the receiving structure's status and obtain a proper receipt before relying on any deduction.
